What DVD players are you guys using to play these PAL encoded SVCDs?
TS's are often done in PAL because the framerate (25fps) is similar to that of FILM (23.976fps) so the flicker that comes from mismatched framerate isn't as bad.
sony is a poor choice for a dvd player to play pirated movies. sony is a content producer as well as a hardware manufacturer, and have little to gain by facilitating the use of copied flicks. our apex has an option in the setup menu that allows us to output at PAL or at NTSC, regardless of the format of the source disc.
