im not sure it hasnt been pointed out yet, but saosin stole the video from a german dvd screener, particulary:
Unleashed.DVDSCREENER.MD.German.iNTERNAL.SVCD-GTR

so the release is obviously not a telecine. want proof? fine.
the dvdscr and the "telecine" are both cut split at the same place.
saosin doesnt do NTSC, even their last TC was PAL, 25 fps, as most TCs are, oddly enough though, this one was NTSC 29.97. why? cuz the dvdscr was.
if you merge cd1 and cd2 for the dvdscr, then demux the video stream, then do the same for the saosin "telecine", the 2 resulting streams are EXACTLY the same size, down to the byte.
all saosin did was get an english audio, and then mux it with the above listed dvdscr video stream, and label it a TC. [rant]they did this without giving credit to the source. normally, i wouldnt care, but saosin were the ones bitching about people stealing their video, and now they do it. hippocrits

SAOSiN does it again

Looks like our boys have done it again.
Video is pretty much perfect, as close to DVD quality as any TC could get, and seeing as how I'm not the biggest kung-fu fan in the world, this release will hold me over for good.

Audio almost scared the shit out of me when I played it in DiVX player Jet Lei had the whole Chimpmunk karate kid effect goin' on, but a quick load in Mplayer fixed that problem real quick. Probably wasn't the file, it was more than likely a software glitch, so I'll say the audio is close to a 9.

Would love to see these guys, (or TUN) do a TC of Crash...

Rarely has such an anticipated movie been this good.
I’ve been waiting for this to come out from when it was in pre production
The concept alone was intriguing, and then when I heard the cast list I thought hummmm
Jet Lee ok but how would they tie in bob hoskings?
Well thanks to Saosin now I know,
The post up there ^^ about the Chinese one just proves something we all know
And that’s that people comment and even rate a movie without even seeing the release in question.
Not only is he talking about another release (Chinese silver) this TC is like day and night in comparison.
Video for a TC = 9
Audio on headphones = 9 (watching on the laptop, the missus was sleeping)
Movie = 10

Ten because it deserves it. No it’s not perfect but up against ALL the movies of 2005 this is the muts nuts (excuse the pun)

when i try to burn the unleashed and played it. the pictures looks ok but it is blocky. sounds is perfect , pictures is little bit dark and the whole movies looks blocky when i play it.

do anyone of you have the same problem? that the movies is perfect but blocky?

Ok i know ppl will not argue the ts vs tc any more, Im sorry but saosin ts's were close and what a fantastic dvcam, i am almost thinking now that these are true TCs due to the amount of screen shown (IE dots being fully shown) TUN has gotten a few out also, same source? i dont know maybe... either way I love it! the original sources for both of them is awesome and has alot of control in the theatre industry, i know Mpaa is shitting themselves the past 2 months, and if it continues so great well advancement of anti tools by them isnt far behind but while it lasts i love these!! 9/8/?

nice job as usual Saosin...but I don't know what you guys use to convert this or to turn into bin cue....but every last release I've ever downloaded...I have problems with cd2 converting to dvd mpeg2 without it interlacing and jagging up...except this time...cd1 and cd2 interlaced and jagged up..and when you combine the mpegs it goes off sync....man fix that...I hate svcd I usually convert to dvd mpeg2 and burn to dvdr....

Overall release is great! As far as quality and sound.

9/9/5 I'm a jet li fan but this movie was horrible....I mean really horrible...Morgan Freeman..I'm sorry you sucked as well, I liked and respect you more in Million Dollar Baby...shit even Seven...but bad choice of character. Jet Li kicked major ass...and the scenes look like they were being hit for real...but overall story plot etc...it sucked.
