Has nobody commented on the horrific audio on this?

Yes it seems to be a direct source but the underwater warbles of the compression make it sound bloody awful IMO.

Excellent video and maybe it's just me but I couldn't ignore the underwater background noise.

too dark to watch in my opinion.

i dont know how you guys could watch that, very hard to see clearly during the night time scenes.

seemed cropped quite a bit, colors were somewhat vivid, also needed to be a tad bit more focused.

Did anybody watch the whole release? At the end, you can hear the whirring of the cam and then applause from the audience, so in my opinion it is just heavily filtered cam audio. The video is OK, as people said before, but very dark and a bit blurry. Plus the fact that the cam gets knocked off its tripod halfway through is kinda funny... takes about 5 minutes of zooming in/out and repositioning til the pic finally calms down. In my opinion, this is a mislabeled cam, and should be nuked.

Video = 5 - The interruptions in the middle, and the fact you don't have a clue what is going on in the dark scenes put this pretty low.

Audio = 4 - Filtered cam, with lots of echo. Thats the reason there is no FM hum... it's not direct!

Film = 8 - I've loved all the M. Night films, I don't see how people can think something like POTC is a good peice of cinecma, and rate this flick so low.

I agree with previous poster

Video 5 : Dark scenes I understand are not avoidable. There is a interuption at one point as the cam is hidden for about 30 seconds and then has to be realigned and refocused.

Sound : it sounds direct for 70% of the movie but there were sections that sounded like cam audio. The final few mintues are really bad with the sound of the projector in the backround.

Movie : 7. I kind of like it.
