I think the sample is missleading, the actual quality of this release is much better than it first seems, sure there're bits that dont look too hot but most ofa the film looks pretty good... well, I haven't got all the cds yet but from what I've seen it looks good.

Not REALLY worth getting if you've got the uti.

Oh and FtF's video player is shit (this is regarding their first release), they should get it cleaned... or buy a new one!

If any on you lamers here have actually watched the sample and not said oh this is shit it looks nothing like a DVD Screener i give it 3/5/10. I remember TCF releasing lotr1 and it was so much better.

Hm i look at the sample i just downloaded the picture is a bit better than the other ones but the sound is still very anoying to hear and not very good ! i stil be wainting for a proper screener or a dvd screener 4cds or 3cds does not matter if the sound is not very good anyway . =)

People here who try to convince us about this release, don't understand how bad the timing was.

If this was released around the first TCF and FTF releases it would be acceptable.

Now it's junk and you can do nothing to change the fact the timing of it was so bad, equivalent to releasing the UTI one, just after a DVD screener.

FTFs lotr2-svcdpic is the best of all releases on this listed on this site(*)...after several releases (english/foreign)....the picture is even better than other 4 SVCD-releases of it (not the sound!)...so this release is worth gettin it (for the "english-speaking" audience)....THANKS FTF!

Although having gone through the thread i believe there are only about 10, if that.

to all u ppl out there that complain about 4 cds. Office max has imation cds that are 2.99 for 200 after the rebates. Compusa was giving free packs of 50 per household after rebate. Get a job if u cant afford chump change. I read the uti thread on lotr so i listened and dled it. The sound was a little better than the tcf but the picture was actually worse. Way to grainey and the color was not correctable even when played tv out on my twin view gforce4. You can play with the color guns in advanced settings then twin view. However that never has as good a picture as a dvd player does with progressive scan enabled. To all u other lamers that complain about svcd. Dos died too right along with the 386's and 486's. Are u clowns still using a dvd player from that period? Dont want to build u a new puter for $100 of pricewatch lol. Well, perhaps before this site becomes useless as it has lately, (u cant trust anything said or rated here because of the lameness)- they should only let ppl post here that have real jobs or even a credit report that was good. Another way would be to only let the ppl post that actually contirbute $ to this site. Also, radio shack has a really good go video dvd player for $59 that will play anything. I wanna know a valid rating on the movies not a bunch of lame crap from a bunch of loosers that i bet could not pass a credit app to get a bannana to .... themselves with. For all u losers, this is 2003 and if u aint got a decent dvd player that will play anything, u should not be allowed to post on this site. In fact, i dont think u should be allowed to post if u aint paying taxes. Something has to be done about the bull shit here. One needs a fricken rocket to get above it or beyond it.
