currently downloading the movie so my opinion will only be based on audio and video quality of the sample.......

well for a 2 week pre cant really complain bars on the side are less annoying that that little line/glitch or whatever it is on the middle of the screen sound is bearable but understandable downloading the whole movie now to see how the rest is

Easiest way to fix the sound is either if listening via hifi sysytem then put the sound mode (if applicable) into incredible surround or mixed channels that way the sound channels become merged sounding better, Or watch it on a tv with similar options.

Oh also on 2nd disc when hulk is battling the tanks, hulks pants seem to disapear/reappear...cant complain props to the smf crew for this one!!

I excelent job for a 2 week pre-rls. Video was a little on the dark side, but not too bad. there are some graphical glitches near the end of the movie, but nothing that takes away from the movie.

Sound:7
Not perfect, but you cant expect it to be. Didn't hear a buzz at all, but had kind of a hollow sound. At the climax action part of the movie, it is obvoius that the work is not finished by the missing of music/sfx from scenes. You dont get the full effect of how kick ass teh hulk is when he growls on the screen, but the audio is silent. I thought that the sound got a little off sync, but i'm not sure if it was the rip or my dvd player.

Maybe i missed some of the detail in the dialogue, but hulk and dad fight didnt make much sense to me. Just kinda poped in there for the visual effect department. I thought it was done really well with the filmography, using techiniques when transitioning between the scenes that make it seem like a comic book come to life. Plot was good thought, nice and straight forward, no unnecessary plot twists or stupid stuff like that. Should do OK at the box office

Earlier someone was talking about how this movie seemed to drag at the begining unlike Spiderman. Some people suggested that since it is a workprint maybe the movie will be edited to make it better...well, we may not be in luck.

As for the quality, I've only seen the sample (downloading now the whole movie now) but I'd rate it 7/5/?. But after I make it mono on my DVD player the sound may not be so weird with the two channels . I'm new to the scene though and therefore EXTREMELY new to workprints. Beats $10 at the theater anyday--2 weeks early no less!

3 ugly black bars on the far right of the screen to hide serials, other than that it look just like any typical ugly screener...but for a pre release of 14 days (Which is Awsome) ...if you can't wait, this is well worth the download.

Watched the whole thing.

Video - A bit dark here and there, somewhat blurry - but overall pretty good - 7

Audio - I understood everything fine, no hissing, sync'd fine, missing a lot of effects and music but that isnt the encode's fault - 7.

Movie - Complete shit. I cannot believe how they butchered this story. I can only hope that this is a very early workprint and that much has been changed prior to release. The story is jumpy, plot is nonexistent, acting is horrible (Jennifer Connolly is particularly bad or at least poorly written - no emotion whatsoever), and the computer animation looks like a computer game (except for the tanks). I would prefer seeing Lou Ferrigno "hulk out" than what they developed. - 2

And as far as this release goes: I have just watched the entire movie. Boy am I glad i didn't pay to see it in the theatre. You'll all have to judge for yourself, but this was one big letdown! The quality of the workprint is good. Better than the TS's that will hit the scene in a few weeks. There are two small black bars down in the bottom right that cover the serial #.(so the workprint couldn't be traced) Occassionally you will notice a tracking line right in the middle of the screen, that comes back haunt you for a little through the second disk. There ARE some sound effects missing. You really don't notice it too much until the desert scene near the end. Its mostly little things like no sound when someone gets punched, or when Hulk lands after jumping. There is one scene where his pants start glitching out, and you can see his massive hulk rear. One other scene where he digs out of the rock he's still in the composite form, they never finished rendering him. He looks like Shrek. Sound is hard to get used to. All speech comes out of left channel, and music out of the right. There are a few scenes where you have them blended.

i downloaded this workprint earlier today. what can i say... video wasn't bad.. as with the audio, dialogue came from the left speaker and music came from the right speaker... hmm, obviously, because it's a workprint, certain things weren't completed.. some of the music wasn't finished yet or some of the sound wasn't put in (like when the hulk in jumping around, but there are no thuds)... and he does lose his pants and goes butt naked for like 5 seconds... good thing for you homofags out there...

Watched the sample on the PC, seen better workprints, but great pre anyways. Hulk looked kinda cartoonish.. gonna burn it and check it out.

First post

Just finished watching it. Not bad for a release this early. Sound would have been near perfect if it didn't have the dialog on the left channel and the right channel having the background music, excluding the missing soundeffects. The movie itself was confusing and Stan Lee made it more of a comic book now also.

I'm finally snatching this crap! I don't care if it sux....I like the sample for some reason...I have a feeling that the theatres version will be different in a good way. Anywayssssssssss gotta remember that it is a.....WORKPRINT and that alot can improve in the theaters so even if you see people saying, "this is crap" dont believe them. Go to the theaters and watch it for yourself.

As for qualityyyy (Judging from what i've seen so far 16:45 min)

Video has nice colors!!!! Just a fittle fuzzy but on a nice T.V it looks great so out of 10...i give 8.5 (Workprint)

Sound is absolutely FUCKED! I hate missing sounds, voodoo sounds on the right and left BUT i fixed that problem by doing some magic O_o.
7/10 Why 7? because it is CLEARRR
