Moviehole visited Disneyland and talked to the folks behind the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command animated series who revealed that a third "Toy Story" movie is indeed in the works.

There's movement on a "Toy Story 3". The troops behind the 'Buzz Lightyear' show know a bit about it, pointing out that it'll be happening at a different camp and that it is in the planning stages (pre-production?) and definitely theatrical.

The first two films were created by Pixar which has not renewed its distribution deal with Disney. The last two films in the deal include The Incredibles and Cars.

In an article in USA Today talking about Marvel Comics' revamping of the Avengers comic book, Brian Bendis says not to expect a movie based on the comic anytime soon.

"We own all the comic-book characters, but different studios own their film rights. An Avengers movie would cost $700 million," says Bendis.

'Stax' at IGN Filmforce tells us that screenwriter David Hayter's latest draft of Iron Man has won over New Line and the studio is going out with it to directors to get the project started in early 2005:

Sources advised IGNFF that this draft of Iron Man is very Tom Clancy-esque in tone and involves the conflict between Tony Stark and his father Howard over Stark Industries. The Armored Avenger's origin has been updated from the Vietnam back story used in the comics.

I can't stand to hear JT comin' outta my speakers - let alone see his mug up on the movie screen, but 2005 looks like being the former N'Sync poppet's big entrance into film, so stiff biccies for the loathers hey?

Granted, there is a bit of buzz about the performance he gives in his first major movie, yet I'm still not sold on 'Justin Timberlake - movie star'.

We shall see.

In addition to a leading role in the new drama "Edison" (the one he's getting the aforementioned buzz for), and a part in the all-star pic "Alpha Dog", Britney Spears' former housemate is rumoured to be putting on Tony Stark's trousers. Ladies and Gents, one "Iron Man" casting rumour that'll have you on hands and knee, begging to the big man above that it doesn't come off.

The Teen Hollywood website reports that Timberlake has already scored the role of the superhero in the forthcoming film adaptation of the Marvel comic.

Anything to the rumour? Hard to say. It is possible though, considering "Iron Man" is being helmed by Nick Cassavetes, the same chap directing JT in "Alpha Dog". If the kid can act, then maybe, just maybe, Cassavetes has locked him in for his follow-up pic.

Tom Cruise expressed interest in playing "Iron Man" a couple of years back but he's too busy to even consider plonking on the metal outfit.

In an interview at AlloCiné.com, Hostage director Florent Siri says that he has been asked by that film's star Bruce Willis to direct Die Hard 4.0. Hostage screenwriter Doug Richardson is rewriting a script by Mark Bomback, who redrafted a pre-existing Fox script called "WorldWar3.com."

In the article, Siri says that he hasn't read the fourth installment's script yet and is waiting to read it before giving his response. He also adds that he doesn't only want to make action movies, so it will be interesting to see whether or not he takes on another actioner so soon.

Willis previously said that "the script will be done by summer and they want to shoot it in the fall. McClane's retired, he's not a cop anymore. It's completely different from the other three films. The only one of the other three films that I thought had any merit to it was the first one. Actually, in the third one I think Sam Jackson's work was really strong."

Asked what the significance was of the 'point-oh' in the title. "Well, it has something to do with computers," Willis answered.

Variety says that Russell Crowe and Nicole Kidman, who earlier this year tried to get the all-Australian film Eucalyptus off the ground, are poised to try again with a period epic that Baz Luhrmann will direct later this year.

Luhrmann is collaborating with Collateral screenwriter and fellow Aussie Stuart Beattie on a romance being called an Oz Gone With the Wind and expected to be made through Fox.

Timing turned to the Aussie epic only after his Alexander the Great project was beaten to the starting line by Oliver Stone's.

Luhrmann and Kidman previously worked together on Moulin Rouge!, but this film would be the first together for the director and Crowe.

TheArnoldFans.com is reporting they have confirmed an earlier report that Sin City director Robert Rodriguez has been tapped by Warner Bros. Pictures to helm a new version of Conan. The studio is no longer going with Conan the Barbarian director John Milius for the project. Milius was developing a film titled King Conan: Crown of Iron.

The site adds that if Rodriguez can get Arnold Schwarzenegger to star in the film, the project would still be "King Conan" but would have a new script. If Schwarzenegger is not available, you can expect an all new Conan.

New York Post gossip columnist Cindy Adams talked to Dame Judi Dench, who has played M in the four Pierce Brosnan James Bond movies, and will do so again in Casino Royale.

Although Brosnan believed he wouldn't be back, Dench says the actor will return a fifth time. "Despite the fact that everyone on the face of the Earth has been tested as his possible replacement, he'll be doing it again, and it'll be announced come summer," said Dench.

Martin Campbell, who directed Brosnan and Dench in their first 007 movie together, Goldeneye, is returning for the latest installment. The 21st Bond film hits theaters November 17, 2006.

Executives from Marvel and Fox told SCI FI Wire that serious plans are in the workds for a SILVER SURFER movie. Marvel's Avi Arad said they were finishing F4 "and the next thing we'll go on our way to Silver Surfer."

Fox's Tom Rothman told SCI FI Wire, "I think the tricky thing on Silver Surfer, which hasn't been resolved yet, is the nature of the Surfer and to what extent digital work is used and to what extent it isn't.

Herbie: Fully Loaded star Lindsay Lohan reportedly let slip to LA's 102.7 KIIS-FM this weekend that she has a role in director J.J. Abrams' Mission: Impossible 3.

Access Hollywood caught up with Lohan to get an update on the possible role. "I actually met with J.J. Abrams, who is directing (the film)," said Lohan. "I'm a huge fan of.. 'Lost' and 'Alias', so hopefully, we will see what happens. If so, I'll be in training for a few weeks, putting on some muscles."

Regarding how it would feel to work alongside superstar Tom Cruise, the actress said, "It's kind of an incredible feeling, I'm scared. If I do 'Mission: Impossible 3' that is going to be so exhilarating. I'm so excited, I just can't wait to do stunts and get all into it."

Paramount Pictures is targeting a summer 2006 release for the third installment.

Michelle Monaghan (Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Syriana) and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers (CBS' Elvis, Bend It Like Beckham) are in talks to join Tom Cruise and Ving Rhames in Mission: Impossible 3, reports Production Weekly.

The film is set to start filming in Caserta, Italy on July 18th. J.J. Abrams (ABC's Lost and Alias) will direct the sequel written by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci.

The Royal Palace, known as the 'Reggia', will be used to recreate the interior of the Vatican for scenes contained in the third installment's script.

Leonardo DiCaprio is in talks to star in For Whom the Bell Tolls at Warner Bros., says Variety. Troy screenwriter David Benioff is penning the adaptation of Ernest Hemingway's novel.

DiCaprio is said to be interested in playing Robert Jordan, the young American teacher who joins an antifascist guerrilla unit in the mountains of Spain. DiCaprio won't commit to the project without a director, however, and none is attached.

The book was previously adapted into a 1944 Sam Wood-helmed Paramount film that starred Gary Cooper and Ingrid Bergman, both of whom were nominated for acting Oscars.

Variety reports that Lynda Obst and Walt Disney Pictures are planning a remake of comedy Adventures in Babysitting and have hired the writing team of Hilary Galanoy and Elizabeth Hackett to pen the new script.

The 1987 original was written by David Simkins and was the feature directorial debut of helmer Chris Columbus. Obst and the late Debra Hill produced for Disney's Touchstone label.

Elizabeth Shue starred as a suburban high-school senior whose dull night of babysitting is interrupted by a call for help from a friend stuck downtown.

Bloody-Disgusting received a scoop from a radio interviewer who attended The Longest Yard red carpet at the premiere Wednesday and got quotes from Adam Sandler about a possible Killer Tomatoes remake. Here's a clip:

"Sandler also talked about remakes, saying one of his favorite remakes was the "Dawn of the Dead" remake. I asked him if he had considered doing a remake of a horror movie and he said "We actually talked, still do, about Killer Tomatoes. I think we should do that one - lots of gore, but lots of laughs too. Robby's in. That's a classic man....we definitely goin to look at that again soon." Asked what he's got coming up he said he's going to be doing a film with Tarantino called "Glorious Bastards" and a movie with Christopher Walken that's "very, very funny"."

Burt Reynolds was also asked what he thought about remakes and revealed that Sharky's Machine, with possibly George Clooney, and Cannonball Run, might be in the works.

Micheal Keaton, the former Batman and current star of the upcoming Herbie: Fully Loaded, spoke about two of his former high-profile projects while doing press for "Herbie".

When asked about the forthcoming Batman Begins, Keaton was ecstatic about the film's quality.

"I'd think it'd be good...It's a really good cast and [Christopher Nolan is] a really good director. I would think it probably is good."

Keaton then revealed he hasn't seen a "Batman" movie since his own, Batman Returns.

"I've never seen (the "Batman" films) since I did mine. Not interested. I have no interest. It's not complicated; people don't seem to believe me. I'm just not interested. I only fill my life with things I'm interested in."

When asked which characters he would like to revisit, Keaton spoke about approaching Beetlejuice sometime in the future.

Keaton said he would do the film, "If 'Beetlejuice' was done right. At one point, I had a conversation with Tim cause I love this movie so much; I'd think there's one more in there somewhere. And we both talked about it and I think there's a script written once years ago that wasn't quite it. I would consider that a lot; I would seriously consider it."

Herbie: Fully Loaded hits theaters June 22.

The Calgary Sun reports that a movie based on popular Fox series 24, starring Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer, is in the works.

Canadian director/producer Jon Cassar said, "The last I heard, the first hour will not be in real-time, but then something big will happen and real time will kick in. It still has to be worked out -- it's at a stage where they need to write it."

Cassar will not predict a storyline for the big screen version of the show. He says the script will likely depend on what's happening on the series prior to the movie coming out.

"It could still be two years from now, so it's far too early to say," he says, adding even if he did know, he wouldn't give it away.
