With regards to VCDQ helping bootleggers, it's a consequence of what we do, in much the same way that reviews/synopsis from iMDB pasted to CD covers of bootleg movies is iMDBs way of assisting commercial pirates. i can't speak for everybody else but I've always held the firm belief that we're ultimately empowering home users to make informed decisions about what to "spend" their bandwidth on, "outing" crappy releases and hopefully encouraging release groups to push that bit harder with the quality of their releases, but I concur that commercial pirates also use our information and reputation to their advantage... and yes, that was said in my best happy-clappy, compost mulching hippie speak but it is the reason why I've stuck around here for the last six or seven years

Imdb i'm sure was set up without piracy being considered whereas this site wouldn't exist if it wasn't for piracy.
Piracy from start to finish is about money. Even the most innocent of downloaders are taking money from the film makers and the cinema's purely not to pay £6/7 for a ticket or £15 when it comes out on DVD and realistically at times who can blame them.
Pretending copies aren't sold from the highest sources of piracy is crazy. Why would anyone enter a cinema with a camcorder putting themselves in a fair risk if it wasn't for financial reasons. Why would someone slip a screener here or there if they didn't profit from it?
Surely your encouraging these kinds of people, especially if certain groups were to be somewhat "hailed" in your reviews section?. If you hate the fact money changes hand's surely the best thing you could do is contact the authorities and hand over the IP address' of some of your more active users. Or maybe stop advertising copies on a public website?

Realistically this is on-going because your arguement holds no water. Your dislike for pir8forums has always been a personal matter, this whole "sellers" cobblers is just that, your just not clever enough to realise your being exposed post by post.

If you have a problem with the owner or any of its members please be man enough to actually say that to them rather than hiding away.

Ok so your views are that its fine for someone to pop into a cinema and make a pirate copy, its fine for them to sell it to whoever wherever, its also fine for release groups to make whatever profit, and its fine that people can review said pirate copy on here. Ok as you seem to quite obviously avoid the question i'll break it down.
Bootlegging you find unacceptable because its done by "work-shy" people for profit. So as a rule you slate people, or in this instance a community, for playing a part in that.
The release groups you promote probably do this for financial gain and are probably the same "work-shy" population you tend to slag off?. If, as you say above, its nothing to do with you then whay have such a bad attitude towards people that in the past did something wrong, but still choose to promote the other work-shy shits?
Now i will make this very simple because you obviously need things to be put to you very very slowly. I'm not sure if you own this site but someone does. That someone i'm sure makes £x from your "partners" advertised on your homepage. So realistically this site, made purely for bootleggers whether that be for private use or financial gain makes a profit.
Therefore this site profits from piracy, just as the people that used to sell on pir8 did. If you own this site then your pockets are lined with piracy or bootlegging money. The owner of this site is no more morally correct than some div selling copies at a boot sale.
