This is another excellent screener from TCF. The timer is a bit annoying but you don't notice it after awhile. The release is over all very good quality and the audio is more than decent. Thanks for an awesome copy of this movie TCF.

Just checked sample and again a nice tcf screener, altho I like their FS screeners better

Sound is nice, very clear and loud, and video is slightly blurry, usual serials at the bottom blurred out nicely off course

man just me or is it odd this and the transporter have EXACTLY the same counter? hmm fishy not even the same move releaers do it the same to easy to make presets

lol how can it be fishy, mabey it has the same counter cuz its from the same source. Why would any group want to add a counter to a release that would be the stupidest thing in the world, they blured out the one next to it so why would they add in a additional one...hmmm thats fishy lol

besides that this is a good rip just grabbed the sample

damm tcf is just tearing shit up with all these screeners i have to admit i also like the fs screeners better too but tcf keep these awesome screeners coming

I dunno is it me or does this and the Transporter look good but look like modified TC's with timers slapped on them I dunno. /me gets ready for flaming war! o well my opinion but nice quality at that 7.5/8/6

You know that makes no sense. They blurred one out but not the other.. Look at the digital artifacts on the serial number... ok,1 maybe its original and im over critisizing... but several tcf releases with almost identical counters.. odd... And most scr are not ws they are usually fs or letterbox... this is an odd combination faded picture, serial, ws, hmm looks a lil tc to me

I agree these SCR (Swimfan, Transporter, Banger Sisters) look like the same quality as VideoCD's TCs. I guess most of us expect true SCRs to be FS without timers or property marks. If labelling realy bugs the shit out of some people (I could care less, only the groups and thier suppliers know wtf they're rlsing) maybe the VCD scene should make some kind of specs for what qualifies a rls to be a true SCR.

This way we'll stop clogging up the rls forums with arguments and debates bout labelling, and fill them with comments on the quality of the rls.

Actually, how does TC look?
I mean, does it mean that because its WS with serials, it has to be TC?

I dont really understand how a TC should be. Is there a way to tell them apart purely from a technical point of view?

Well, I know a CAM from a TS because of the difference in direct sound. I know the difference between a TS and a SCR because of the video and sound quality(obviously). But as for TCs and SCRs, the quality seems to be the same. Or am I missing something out.

Looks nice enough. Sounds nice enough, but for me i'll stick with my workprint copy until a DVD version arrives. Nice stuff yet again though.

Oh, and this movie is pretty good too.

Well N00b it appears that you did not notice pHo and x69's news column on the website here click on it it has a .php referal to what a tc is.. shortly a tc is an unexact copy of the reel from the source at a movie theater instead of a professional copy. Ways of this are wetgate. A tc if done right can look as good as a screener these however seem to be done with the contrast up to high. These groups should add some kind of filter to edit it this is way to washed out to be a scr. I have seen a better cam then this. literally dr do lil2 was a decent cam in imho

LOL sorry bout that was at school and was in a hurry. chick next to me had a thong was distracted.

They probably do have the exact same counter and watermarks but so does all of MGM dvd screeners such as Barbershop, Croc Hunter, Windtalker, Deuces Wild, No Such Thing, Harts War, etc. What does that prove? Nothing, just that studio's DO use the same formats for their screeners so maybe these are fox studio vhs screeners since the studio doesn't produce dvd screeners.

If you're familiar with video editing, you'd know it's quite difficult to add overlaying watermarks (such as counters and serials). Also why would they go through the trouble of adding counters and serials just to blur them out again?!? Most retail screeners yes, but many studio screeners are WS. Telecines usually have BETTER colors than screeners, check out TCF's Minority Report or earlier TC's like Jurassic Park 3. It's rare for TC's to have serials (but not watermarks) although counters are common. Also for a sample of a Wetgate transfer download Dragonfly by SiD, you'll see the difference between a wetgate release and these.

Well acutally I am quite familiar with it. And no its not difficult I can add a counter to a movie with 3 clicks lol not that hard takes 10 minutes to process the entire film.
