Looks like a top release, although I haven't had chance to get the full movie yet. Looks to be the best release so far.

So I run into him a week later in the mall and he’s buying another cat and I says to ‘em "Jesus Walt, what are you doing? You know your just gonna get this cat stuck up your ass too, why don’t you knock it off?" And he says to me "Brodie, how the hell else am I supposed to get the gerbil out?" My cousin was a weird guy....

My god, it looks and sounds awesome!
Now if only they can release this sooner, that'll rock!

I wish they did it in SVCD format though, looks and sounds much better imo.

very nice
didnt notice much diff between the vcd and svcd samples,
the picture is more or less the same the sound is higher/crisper for the svcd but that might just be my mplayer2 audio settings

regular supply of latest movies in this format i will fully welcome

i personally don't notice a whole lot of difference between the two either. this is the reason why i always felt that They Who Must Never Be Spoken Of On Pain Of Unmerciful Censorship were wrong in releasing SVCD TS's. the minor improvement just doesn't justify all the drawbacks. their own releases prove it (like resident evil, for instance).

glad to see tcf hasn't fallen prey to the hype. vcd for TS. is my vote.

dear TCF ,

i hope ya read this , plz make all TS SVCD . The quality is good enough for svcd , vcd is too old , svcd is muuuuch better .
there is nothing against svcd (perhaps some players dont play , but those suck / are old)

come on , we need HQ telesyncs !

8 Mile *INTERNAL* - TELESYNC - TCF

WoW ! ! ! I'm expressed at TCF's TS. Saw all three samples the two VCD's and the SVCD. Both look better, but i think the SVCD looked just quite a little better.

I think they are ready to rls TS's. They started off by pre-dvd, to scr's and now TS's. GREAT JOB TCF!!! hehe

The movie is a nice DV recording, really really nice audio on it (samples) nice and clear. also WS, hehe.

I rate this movie 8.6/9.5. A/V.

-=ANTY=-

NOTE: Keep the GOOD WORK TCF!!!

w00t!! Excellent job, TCF! Downloading this baby as we speak! :P I would prefer SVCD for your next telesync, but I sure as hell can live with VCD for now! Thanks again, TCF! BTW: Now all we need is a good telesync of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

nah , we need new hot stuff like Die another day and two towers !

btw my rating based on the vcd sample :

video 8/10 wow , very good video for a TS , just like c*p's svcd ts's (just that this is a vcd , i think as a svcd it would beat c*p)
sound 8/10 solid , direct sound . gj
movie ? i never got time....

Im not flaming but you are way off here. Look at this chart below. notice the resolution and audio are much higher on svcd. If you ripped a dvd to vcd and svcd, paused both, and compared... you would notice the difference. The MAIN difference is video format. vcd is mpeg1 which is about vhs quality give or take depending on compression and all, but svcd is mpeg2 which is a dvd compliant format.

http://www.vcdhelp.com/images/svcdvsvcd.png

Since others can say it much better than i can heres a few quotes that back me up:

http://www.uwasa.fi/~f76998/video/svcd/overview/
quote:
SVCD can deliver more than 2 times sharper video images (480x576 for PAL material, 480x480 for NTSC - commonly referred to as a "2/3 D1" resolution) than the previous VCD standard . Because of the increased vertical resolution, the interlaced nature of video signal is now also preserved. This results in smoother-looking motion for any video footage that was originally shot with a field-based video camera (as opposed to frame-based film or a "progressive frame mode" video camera).

http://www.vcdhelp.com/svcd
quote:
The quality of a SVCD is much better than a VCD, especially much more sharpen picture than a VCD because of the higher resolution.

I am REALLY hoping there is an svcd of this released from the same source... NOT A REENCODE of this vcd.

Looks very nice TCF. Props to you!

ECO vs. TCF

Okay:

1. ECO's version was very watchable, but some points of the movie it seemed as if they were holding the CAM or something and it was shaking/moving a bit. Not too often, but it happened.

2. ECO's versions audio wasnt too bad, and clear enough to understand.

3. ECO's version look as if the CAM was zoomed in too much. You can tell this because half the times peoples faces are cut off in the picture, and the credits at the begining were totally cut off.

4. ECO's version was Full Screen.

1. TCF's versions video looks like it has a bit more color, and its a bit brighter with better focus.

2.TCF's versions audio is a bit better. Clearer then ECO's, very decent.

3. TCF's version is Widescreen, and displays the FULL picture, nothing is cut off on the sides and the picture is much larger.

Thats just my 2 cents.
