'TCF can't encode for jackshit, so here's our internal rip to save the day. Better luck next time fella's'

Ummm. TCF's version was excellent and quicker then yours.

Why did V4F waste their time encoding this?

My guess is that because the TCF release was PAl. But I can't complain about the quality or speed of their release.

Funny, I just finished getting the TCF release. Seeing as it will take a while for this to get out on IRC and usenet, is there any way I can encode this to NTSC? Will TMPGenc work?

If V4F did say that well its not gonna get them the respect that TCF have built up.

On the NTSC thing. coming from the UK and being in the PAL Region i was very grateful for a PAL Release not that it bothers me, i have a convertor neway.

FOR THE LAME ASS PERSON WHO TOOK V4F'S NFO AND RE-WROTE IT IS PRETTY PATHETIC. THE CENTURIES THAT V4F HAS BEEN HERE, THEY HAVE NEVER BASHED ANYONE, OR HATED ON ANOTHER GROUP. FOR AL THOSE THAT CONTINUE TO SUPPORT US THANK YOU. AND IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE *REAL* NFO, YOU KNOW WHERE TO FIND IT.

not sure there was much of a reason for another release. the tcf one was ok. Oh well I suppose its internal. As for the divx issue, i didn't think pho was a troll. Divx/xvid is a superiour format to the bitrate hungry svcd. I've always found divx movies look quite well. Also watching a widescreen movie on a 19" monitor makes little difference to watching it on the 21" tv we have. Svcd is handy for dvd players but mpeg 4 ones will be afforordable pretty soon. Also pho, divx can have multiple audio tracks and removable subtitles (ever heard of dvobsub).

CENSORED

Well apparently in the rush to get all the flame wars over divx removed from this topic my previous comments concerning the inflammatory remarks in this .nfo were removed. I see several comments that those remarks were fake and that this nfo has been altered. If that is the case then why is the fake nfo still linked off the main page ?

Get us the right nfo linked before more people read this and get pissed over something that is not even real.

TCF's encode was pretty good I watched it last night and didnt notice anything other then minor imperfections. I saw the sample of V4F and didnt think it was any better but I saw it on the monitor not the 52" that I watched TCF version. BTW thats fucked up what was done to the nfo, whats the point just drags your REP down when you deface a groups nfo!

V4F Vid Bitrate - 2095 Rez - 480 x 480 NTSC
TCF Vid Bitrate - 2190kbit avg. 2450kbit max. Rez - 480 x 560 PAL

P.S. Jebus! STFU, all of you! The last like 10 post have had nothing to do with the rls at all. Why do you give a damn about what format others use. Each format has it's own pluses and minuses so pick whats best for you and let others do the same or make a new thread (Divx/Xvid vs X/SVCD).

Unhappy

I wouldnt diss TCF they have always given us good stuff. I have never gotten a release by you guys, other than this one of course, but all of the TCF movies I have are great quality and always encoded nicely. Your internal rip is not bad, but dont diss the other group just because they got it before you. You could have just said you think yours is better because it is NTSC or something, but saying their encodes are shit is pretty gay.
