this is one of my fav movies thas why i did some research on this movie. its supposed to be a movie where they grow up and remember there child hood it. it is basically a movie showing the actors in the present state"the real actors from the original. mikey"sean astin" is supposed to get married in this and he invites his ol'goonie pals to the wedding thas about all i no anyone who can post more info about this would be cool

It was my understanding that it was all but greenlit with a view to a 2004, 2005 release.

Do a search on aintitcoolnews.com. I believe i saw a cast photograph on there when the studio announced the movie on their slate.

Goonies was a great flick, not the kind of flick you can make a pure sequel out of tho, it would have to be like revenge of the nerds when the next generation is coming to collage for it to be a good movie.

You know what they should do with this movie? They should age it along with the cast.

I mean dont make it a kid flick, give it an R rating.

Im not saying they should change the idea of it. Make it a light hearted goofie adventure story with a "I cant beleive its happening again" feel to it, and throw in cursing, breif nudity, and some dirty jokes.

I loved the goonies when i was around 11, it would be kind of original if the movie followed me to adulthood.
