If you're a total Indie or Emo Kid and loved Spinal Tap you gotta check out Friends Forever. It's finally coming out on DVD & playing on the Sundance Channel. The story is pretty much the same as spinal tap cept this is real. Saw this flix at SXSW last year and HAD TO GET it for myself!

Here it is in a nut shell. Three band members travel around the country in the van (a key character in the film) and play OUTSIDE of other shows. They're not booked by anyone or asked to play, they just show up and play outside of other people's gigs. Whats more is they play IN THEIR VAN and have lots of pyrotechnics! Total nut jobs. Saw them play at SXSW outside the premeire. Damn funny and they're actually good!

Anti-Flag. Shit they're still around? I had the "Born Against" tape. Didn't care too much for them. More into the Rudimentary Peni thing before they went more metal.... if you can call them that.

As for the Friends Forever I emailed Plexifilm and tried to get a promo/screener copy for my "zine" and he had no idea what a "Screener" was! Ha!
