Half Past Dead Re-encode
First off just want to add that the quality of the flick is nice. You cant ask for anything better. DVDrip. They really dont get anybetter unless you have the original DVDr or if their is a dvdr release! So my question is this. What should they have used to encode the movie. Ok maybe it was done with dvd2svcd. As far am as I am aware Dvd2Svcd is a compilation of a lot of the best programs out there for encoding. Bsweet, dvd2avi, encodes with Cinema craft encoder or Tmpeg what ever you use, pull down, etc etc. So would it make a difference if they used the programs separtely. And as long as UTi uses the right quality settings and uses CCE(cinema Craft encoder) or at least I hope they do this, then the encodes should be top notch. And from the download it appears that this is the case. And on a side not, hopefully Uti instead just relying on Pre-retails, or screeners, can actually start coming out with some quality TS's now not cams. Its the only thing they are missing. Anyways, good job on the release thx UTi.
