How do you know if this is a nice release if you haven't downloaded it?

Some users prefer non watermarked releases (even though the ones on the dvd screener weren't really intrusive at all ), and encoding xvid/divx to svcd produces horrible quality compared to a rip direct from the dvd. Divx/xvid tends to have problems with artifacts and macroblocks so a re-encode will just ruin it for those who care about quality.

if your xvid encodes are horrible then you don't resize the picture and you rip it at full screen aka learn to encode properly my encode was perfect the watermark didn't get in the way at all
and i do like quality but i like quality fast I have a decent rip of the movie with out bothering to download the dvd rip later down the road

_i admit the 1 file divx's are a bit horrid and maybe the file xvids but you have to keep in mind this is a 2 file rip giving you pretty great quality

FLiX just used this to make a SVCD, go check it out...The Ring *WS* - DVDRIP - FLiX ........ if they had their own DVD source wouldn't PosTX have done the divx/xvid? I wonder how FLiX thinks that they are going to get away with it? Anyway DEiTY choose a bad sample cuz it ruins part of the movie

Just watched the sample.

Video is great apart from barely noticable artifacts.
Audio is perfect.
Movie itself I don't know yet cause I haven't watched it. If the sample is anything to go by, I am definately getting this release.

I rate this release 9/10/?

Well done DEiTY
