Correct me if i'm wrong but I heard Larry Cohen (screenwriter for phonebooth) tried to pitch a phonebooth like script to Hitchcock back in the 60's, but that didn't pan out so he's been sitting on the script ever since. With over 20 years of time to perfect the script, you'd think he could do better.

u could actually see the whole movie on that site. i watched it and im pretty sure that Joel Schumacher or whoever bought the idea to make Phone Booth, because i doubt they would take a chance of getting sued for stealing the idea. just a fancy remake i guess.
