Review: Double_Dee-Shining-Vinyl-2003-UTE

HOLY FUCKING MOTHER OF GOD! WOW!!! That is all that needs to be said about this release. What we have here is the number one song for Summer 2003, and if it isn't so i'll eat my face off i swear.

With the right amount of airplay, the correct marketing, and of course the correct amount of deck-spinning coverage in Ibiza etc, this will easily destroy every other wannabe Summer club hit in it's path.

We have two tracks here. Side A we have the original mix, which is pretty hot, nice catchy synth and kick but totally pales in comparison to the complete MONSTER of a track on Side B, the Cicada Mix, this is the baby, this is the gem, this is the mix that will punch your fucking bowels out and rip the fucking shit out of you and just not care until it's punctured and burst your fucking skull in to submission. It wants to own you, it will own you. Don't even try to defend yourself because you can't and you won't. If the monster phat bassline doesn't get you, the groovy nightcrawlers style vocals will. And if that doesn't you'll be humming that goddamn synth all day. This is a masterpiece. This is the track of Summer 2003, there is no other competition for the foreseeable future.

Quite frankly there is absolutely FUCK ALL you can do about it. Give in. Accept it. You've been owned.

Nice tunes, both the original and the remix.
As you say, remix is better than the original... enough said.

Worth grabbing. Worth listening to. Thnx for letting me know about this release, i hardly grab any mp3, because i cant seperate the junk from the good stuff.

This is a seriously pimp mix/remix. Both are good, remix is excellent. Read Mystic's review...he's right on target. I killed my dog while litening to the remix
