Review: (2003) Wrong Turn
Ok here is the review for Wrong Turn:
Background:
Chris is a pre-med student attending West Virginia Univ and heading for an interview in North Carolina. On the way there is a traffic jam and he heads to the nearest gas station. There he checks a map and decides to go onto Bear Mountain RD. This is where the fun begins.
Review: Ok the story is about an urban legend in the woods in West Virginia. I have some mixed feelings about it. First, overall its not that scary. There are scenes that make you jump, but nothing earth shattering. Secondly, the movie is very graphic. The murder scenes and the victims are very well done, blood was awesome. Third, the creatures were alright, nothing to scream at.
Final Thoughts: I found myself laughing a lot. Now this may be because I was alone in the theater and could or it could be because the movie was funny. Its a pretty predictable horror movie, but I can say its worth a view on a Saturday afternoon when it only costs $6. Though I can't say it would be worth a Friday night viewing.
Rating: Act like a old person and see it during the day!
