Box Office Numbers Weekend of July 25-27, 2003
Back at ya with the numbers for another week of movie madness!
1- Spy Kids 3D: Game Over $33,417,739/ opening (Surprise! It wasnt the other sequal that mad it to the top)
2- Pirates of the Caribbean $23,136,029 / $176,838,155 (Still kickin much ass at the box office...good to see a great summer flick doin right)
3- Bad Boys II $22,051,422 / $88,503,074 (drops 52%! bad boys bad boy whatcha gonna do when they dont come to see you)
4- Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life $21,783,641 / opening ( ouch! this one hurts the ole Paramount pocketbook eh?)
5- Seabiscuit $20,854,735 / opening (In my opinion an excellent start to a summer sleeper)
6- The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen $5,070,971 / $52,927,018 (This has got to be very disappointing for the people who made this)
7- Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines $5,063,450 / $137,459,813 (looks like this machine ran out of steam..guess their hope is on over seas markets to make the money on this bitch back)
8- Finding Nemo $4,391,650 / $313,119,898 (The movie that will never die..I think this movie will be in the top 10 until Christmas at this rate)
9- Johnny English $4,327,130 / $18,435,985 ( Not very good..not bad but still not very good)
10- Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blonde $2,707,034 / $82,171,969 (no comment)
