Review: The Medallion (2003) by Greg Proops.

I don't have much to say about this movie except to paste you what i wrote in IRC this morning:

(11:07:45am) (+mystic-s) i feel raped and violated, and i never EVER EVER EVER want that movie to come near me EVER again. It can FUCK OFF AND DIE

indeed.. US Chan flick w/ Lee Evans? has the word Stinker all over it before the credits roll. nah i wont be watching this. chan in hk was absolutely brilliant, and NOTHING will match the hilarity of Police Story 2 for me. the guy has incredible talents that are wasted with US screenplays. the west truly is incapable of making a classic M/A flick, and shouldn't try. Rush Hour was decent due to the fact chan used a HK stunt team.

Erk... I sorta liked FearDotCom, but hey, I watch Teletubbies too.

I agree with pHo when he say's the US can't do Jackie Chan justice, but then again I hate the fact that "The Chan" always does comedies. Just once I'd like to see him in a serious action film to see if he's as good as I suspect he is, 'cos even his old movies from his HK days are comedies - it seems such a waste.

I haven't inflicted this movie on myself yet, but surely it's not as bad as say: The Bulletproof Monk, Johnny English or (another crappy comedy from the Chan-meister) The Tuxedo? Is it?

Edit :: And Lee Evans is a fucking tool. I hate him with every fibre of my being - the squallid little cunt. I bet he was bullied at school!!

as I said in my own review movie stunk, it was lot like The Tuxedo.. Jackie Chan needs to go back to his old Hong Kong Roots.
