Has anyone been able to upgrade this thing's firmware? I downloaded and burned according to the very crappy samsung instructions, to no avail. CD-R didn't work, CDRW either.

This is one of those NUON enhanced players. Well, NUON went bankrupt, but it's still sorta cool to have a winamp-type plugin that does neat graphical shit to music built into your player
