Terminator 4: 'BotBot' has some interesting stuff on another sequel with someone else at mind now Arnie's the Governor - "There have been meetings to talk about a T4 recently. T3 wasn't a smash - but it made enough to get the gang fluttering over it's potential as a new franchise. Not surprisingly, the latest is that it might be without Arnold. He apparently has said that he could do a cameo toward the start or end of the film, but his other commitments would make it near impossible for him to headline it. There's talk of bringing in another big name to headline it, Arnold's apparently suggested Dwayne Johnson. Arnold did a cameo in Dwayne's latest flick - and has put in a good word for the wrestler cum action star. I know they want to get Linda Hamilton back for a bizarre dream sequence. I think she'll come around - if only because Jon Mostow's not directing. I predict it'll happen for Summer 2005 against Bat and Indy over at P'mount. A rock/T4 might just work".
Yah, the Rock is pretty damn bland in the acting dept. He needs lessons. Remember, Vin Diesel was being rucruited to be in T3 but he had conflicts in his schedule. Why not just CGI Arnold. For 30 million they paid for him. The could easily do the whole movie with a CGI arnold. Make him look younger and probably better acting.
when you say better acting.. do you mean he wouldn't be groping the women leads all over and eating every piece of chicken on the catering table?.. or that he'd act with enthusiasm and realness?
c) I loved The Rundown entirely. It is the most fun I've had watching a movie all year. The Rock has an incredible sense of poise on the screen, and actually was quite a good actor too.
I think you guys all jump to conclusions on how horrible he is because of the media he's crossing over from.

I actually liked wrestling but just because the Rock can perform in the ring doesn't mean that translates to him being a professional actor in a movie.

no I havent' seen it but from the trailer and commercials, I really don't see how it could be good. I will watch whenever it comes around to TBS or USA.
It was an *awesome* movie. It reminds me of a cartoon, where they go through endless amounts of pain, yet still manage to keep trudging on. It's a popcorn flick to the max, and suceeds entirely in what it was meant to be.

No... but I did begin to think that a person would actually see a movie before he decides to trash it like it's the sequel to Gigli.
And the trailers are definitely a good indicator to use to tell whether or not a movie sucks... with that deep insight into the movie he could write a damn review...

i dont get it...y would they need anyone of arnies/rocks size? a T4 should be based after T3 so it should be a war with machines - they would look like the robots, and wouldnt need skin over the top, they only need to get that kid back, or the guy who plays the older john conner to lead the resistance and they are sorted and saved $20m on paying some guy they doont even need.
