Progressive Scan/Digital Out Cheap?

Currently have a mintek 1600 in which I use to play all my home made svcd/vcd and etc, however it lacks digtal output <fiber> and progressive scan. Do any of you know which cheap model supports both progressive scan and digital out.

And has all the other functionaly of the mintek1600?

I haven't tried one myself, but the CyberHome CD-DVD 300 seems to be one of the current popular single disc DVD players that supports all the popular formats (VCD, SVCD [NTSC and PAL], JPG, MP3, MPEG), is very inexpensive, and has features including Progressive Scan, Coaxial Digital Out, and a very small footprint.

You only need PROGRESSIVE SCAN, if you have a High-Definition Television.

And if you had a High-Definition Television, why would you be skimping out on the DVD Player?

Not necessarily true the DVD-2004 DVD Player has a vga out port, so that you can hook it up to your computer monitor.
