With the PPF patch, the release works fine. But there is a short list of annoyances with this release:

1) No release/downsample info in the NFO file...

2) You need a PPF patch if you don't know how to fix it yourself in IFOEdit

3) It is obviously CCE encoded, but they kept 3 useless trailers (275 megs), one really painful Elton John video (150 megs), on top of the menu being already 360 megs alone. This means a 2 hours movie has to be approx. 3600 megs... Means an average of 4mbit/sec for both video and audio on the movie. Subtract the 448kbit/sec audio and you are left with a pretty weak approximate 3550kbit/sec video feed. Could have easily cut special features and trailers to make it a cool 4200kbit/sec video [ALL NUMBER ARE APPROX]

N E Ways... I am just surprised that these veteran groups would have this down by now. PPF patch requried to repair the bad authoring, poor video bitrate, and lack of info in the NFO are the problems with the release. No show stopper, but still...

It's a drama/chick flick though, so who cares about video. You'll probably watch it once and throw it in the garbage. And the ultimate bottom line, it's free... So you can't REALLY go wrong.

finally

porco, yours was the first valuable post i have ever read on these movie comments. thanks.

usually people somehow try and argue that a telesync is a 10/10 on video quality, which is just downright impossible.

anyway, thanks for a meaningful post... i had wondered about this movie as my girlfriend wanted to see it but i heard the release was crap.

:: alas, i heard the film was crap -pHo
