yes all dvd rips fit on a cdr. most use 80min but occasionaly there will be ones that fit on 74min. the cd image will probably be over 800mb after it is extracted but it will fit fine on a 700mb cd.

DaS Maggott

Danny, you use a program like Nero to convert it to VCD or in this case if it's SVCD you're going to need the Nero SVCD Plug-in.

BTW, when was this released? I haven't seen it floating around...

EDIT:

Nevermind, looks like it just got released yesterday. The kids already had the TS but they're really going to love the DVD Rip...

Most SVCD's can be 800mb - 810mb MAX, but they will fit on any 80min CDR. They wont fit on a 74min CDR tho obviously.

I may not have many posts, but I know quite a bit in all areas.

The Centropy releases that are bin/cue do NOT have to be converted if you want to burn it as SVCD to play in standalone DVD, etc. They are bin/cue files of high quality that when burnt with CDRWin or Nero work fine on standalones or can be played on a regular cd-rom with WinDVD or PowerDVD or similar programs.
You can use a program to extract the mpeg out of it, but why do that when you can burn it (if you have a burner, that is) and enjoy the fine quality of the SVCD???

Sometimes i use iso buster to grab the mpeg outa the bin/cue cause its slightly smaller, not really a big deal but sometimes the end of each CD gets cut off on my burns..dunno why i got 80min memorex's cd-r...dunno just fucked up thats the only reason most people get the mpeg unless they want to watch it on the comp cause they cant afford a dvd player...or their player doesnt play svcd like mine at curtain rates.
