damn, i think dmd are not so good encoders like brutus. brutus' last samurai release had 817 kbps video bitrate and a superb picture, while this one has 815kbps and is... average. maybe the retail source is not so good... i don't know. the audio is outstanding. movie... very nice

Or maybe they just use newer versions of codecs, that compress to better quality at lower bitrates?

Good release, have seen alot better tho, obviously not on this film.

Best rip so far this week ive seen is the dirty dancing 2 havana nights one by Deity, altho the Starsky and hutch WS aint all that bad!
