/edit maybe it is the lack of sleep or maybe I just wasnt paying attention, but I did not see the menu... after the fbi warning the player stopped and when I pressed play again it was into the movie. Subtitles also looking "strange"... like a white/black color mix.. it's weird.

Let me give Replicrap props for the pre release, but some serious fuckups. The conversation with Bill and Budd at the beginning of the movie there was a BLEEPED Word. Don't think that happen when watching this in the theatre. Unless i was in the restroom at the time. The subs are fucked up during the part with Pai Mei and Beatrix Kiddo. Subs are black with white outline, very dark and hard to read on anyones TV. Shit forgot to add that you have to hit English subs on your dvd player when that part of the movie comes up. Since it doesn't do to english when Pai Mei and Beatrix talks.
Neverless, good job Replicrap, that's why i always burn Replicrap releases on DVD-RW, just in case it is crap... LOL.. Hoping for a R1 release though

From the Sample I saw, it's about on par with 8/8/10

The bleep at the beginning, when Budd and Bill talk was in the movie in theaters. It's when Bill mention's the Brides real name (like they did in Vol 1), they don't stop bleeping it until chapter 9.

Well when you rip subs sometimes the coloring is all fucked. Default or not, Replicrap should have corrrected that, not to hard to do esp using Subrip. The movie itself had white subs for the Pai Mei and Beatrix Kiddo scene. You telling me that Q.T told the guys to press different sub colors for the dvd retail release and make you auto select the english subs on the dvd when the Pai Mei and Beatrix scene happen. Yea right

Man... If your illegal pre-released copy ain't good enough for you, :: EDIT :: please feel free to make your own rip. Sub colors are easy to fix in the IFO movie file.

6 on audio? :: EDIT :: I would be delighted to hear which criteria you based your audio ratings on. Untouched audio = 6... Hmm...

Not defending Replica, but when your :: EDIT :: posts (ie: your initial post) come around, I can't help choose the opposite side you're on.

For all other people, I think the release was real good!

Video was very decent/good for a 136 min movie. I am personally glad to see Replica using CCE (or at least their NFOs state this)... Definitely no major complaints. They did the best they could

Movie only, no extras. Most likely for fans ( :: EDITED OUT FLAME :: ), we'll buy it, so 8/10 on the DVD. Buy it for the DTS and the extras (I wonder if it will be a 2 disc set? Hehehe, I wonder even about the DTS part ). I do hate to agree with this, but the subs were a mess up for sure. But fixing this is possible of course (as it was with the un-cut Volume 1).

Good pre job Replica. Only complaint would be a little time spent checking the release before RAR'ing it. But nothing that can't be fixed up.
