After seeing this grp release 75% of major titles on DVDRip we all now know their source kicks ass , point of this post - their encoder blows. So far i believe DvP has released 13 xvid dvdscr/dvdrips now and all but 1 have been nuked. Why? Cause they cant encode...

Lets take this Walking Tall for example:

The frames overlap to start with, you can clearly tell by the sample its interlaced by all the white lines in the dark scenes. Compair the DvP's XviD DVDRip to Wastedtime's FS Screener and DvP is missing at least 25% of the screen (overcropped), and once again their using an old ass codec to encode so if you have any new codecs you gotta uninstall them to play DvP movies.

None of DvP's movies have been nuked due to source messup but all because of encoder screwup. Right now their batting a 90% nuke average. You would think their nfo would say "Wanted xvid.template " to help them or they would take advice from another grp to help them get better in time but instead its nuke after nuke. Other grps like DiAMOND, ALLiANCE , BRUTUS cant be bothered to proper them so as far as XviD dept goes. DvP might own in speed but in the end its hurting XviD dvdrips more then gaining.

DvP your source kicks ass , your encoder on the other hand sucks ass. (like they will ever read this)

first off, ill say i haven't seen this release yet, but i have seen many of dvps other attempts, and ive noticed one thing - all their releases are mp3 audio, and 576x*something* resolution... i cant see why the heck they released movies at that res, with mp3 audio, often on 2cds... so im thinking, is this group just using a sh*tty auto-ripping program, that does all the work for them? take a look at all their nfos, the films are ALWAYS 576x*something*, regardless of film length, or how many cds they put it on, and the audio is always mp3, even on 2cd... its quite annoying really, because other groups dont get a chance to release a decent copy, unless dvp really screw up... i will agree that they must have a bloody wicked source, as they are getting some really good films, but i wish they would shape up and stop botching them up...

DCN screwed a lot of releases months ago, but now DVP is even worse.

Resolution 576x with bitrates >1400kbits (recently with Passion of the Christ) is ridiculous, a decent group could manage this resolution with mp3 on 1 CD. And they ignore the existence of subs - no big skills needed to rip those.

DVP -> go www.doom.org and read the basic guides before screwing more releases.

DVP is the worst POS group ever,
Almost every release they make needs reencoding to play on standalone players.
2 CD releases without AC3 is also very geniuos.
So please DVP, stop this bs now or learn to make proper rls.

they should use the guides from www.doom9.org. goardian knot is very easy to use and the results are very good.
i see that these release is not nuked... yet.

i duno what people are complaining about.. i just watched it on my 32" toshiba flatscreen.. video and audio were excellent, and so was the movie.. i didnt see any dropped frames, or any flickering, or anything messed up.

i watched it using my xbox and xbmc.. maybe you people have bad monitors? no idea

This movie shows as only 75 minutes long plus 10 mins credits!!!!

Surely this can't be the full movie, or does it incorrectly read as short due to the interlacing?
