there's enough fields to fill out as there is, adding more is pointless and irritating. we're not a 0sec dupecheck so pre times aren't our priority, and if people need em so bad they should have axx to em already.

Stead of starting a new thread Ill just tack this onto here. In my opinion, something needs to be done about the comments/rating sections. They are gettin downright silly. Its gotten to the point where on a full page of replies, you get maybe 1 good review if that. 90% of the time the movie isnt even talked about. 404 had been adding his "rules" post on many threads but after he stopped things just went back to shit. If people want to talk about the movie itself (and Im just as guilty as others sometimes) then pos i in the movie forum. Or at least rate the RLS itself when commenin on the movie. Weve got tools like b2k requesting (or as close as you can come) movies in multiple threads. If its as simple as deleting post then thats fine. Or if its not that big a deal tell me to stick it up my ass. Thats fine too. Just my 2 cents.

Is there a way to limit the comment threads to people with say 20 or more posts? That way you'll stop the requesting and flaming - nobody (except the terminally retarded) is going to build up enough posts to be able to comment just to loose em again by getting banned.

i have hundreds of posts, and i'm retarded.

People will still post shit, they'll just spam to get up to 20 posts, and that'll fuck up other areas of the board.

It just needs stricter modding/more mods, that's all.

Surely whether it's the first 10 posts, or the first 20, lots of stupid posts slip through, either through mods not noticing, or them letting them through intentionally so we can all flame the poster to bits.

To get their 20 posts, as we've seen, they'll post one word replies to threads, post nonsense to year-old threads (what, they bump? shit!) and start new pointless threads.

I'd get all evil on them and be super-strict, zero tolerance and stuff.
