where to begin.

telecine machines do not record with black bars on the sides, but russian pdvds DO.

whether that matters or not, i go blind reading the drama between grps

video = 7 ...colors are vibrant on cd1, still black bars, what the
hell is amatter here ? virtualdub or tmpgenc
takes 2 fucking mins to cut the black bars out
and fucking frameserve...whether this is a real
telecine source or not, there is no race on this
since the Screener is out...so fucking stop trying
to be cool and flame another grp and rush your
src, and try just being a grp, i think thats what the
people on the scene really care about.

audio = 7 ...again, not dts cd...get one, decode it, sync it.
screener audio was clearer.

movie = 5 ...kinda funny, made me laugh a bit, more for my
bitch though.

other than that, was this even needed? who knows, screener was more than enough....maybe TUN should be worried less bout grps and scene talking shit on them, and just be focused on rlsing on time and with quality....my two cents.

This movie is kinda old, i was expecting a screener, or dvdrip. But whatever. This release aint bad, i dont understand how TUN manages to make Telecines look so shitty. Its better than any of the ts's but def isnt worth a download, a better release will be out soon. Sample looks fine, i'll rate the movie after i watch it.

6/8/?? --> the audio is damn good again, props to TUN for that.

::EDIT:: There is a screener out, I am a dumbass. This release is pointless.... a dvdrip is around the corner. Thanks for nothing TUN

suprisingly, i expected the quality to be pretty poor for a TUN release

Video - 8 quality was good, and is nice and bright, not as good as a telecene can get though

Sound - 9 As expected with a telecene, the audio quality is very good

Movie - 5, not my type of movie

Liberal Activist

If TUN wants to be a well respected group they need to learn from past groups who have been on top of their game, once again I would have to refer to groups like THCiSO/TWCiSO/TCF/etc. and the list goes on. Ever since the beginning of this year the movie scene has gone down the gutter. This release should have been internal, I've rarely heard of a group releasing a TC after a screener unless it was absolutely necessary which in this case it isn't. And as for the SVCD point they tried to make in there nfo sounds like inexperienced or incompetent encoders because there is a thing such as max bitrate BUT then again they could have evened it out like the pro's do and fill 3x74min CD's and say for increased compatibility (hey there has to be some ppl out there with old school hp burners ) and that statement some have said about having the black bars on the sides saves quality is BS, although it isn't visible on a TV because video expands a bit more on a TV than on a PC monitor, bitrate is still being used on the black portion (a hefty amount also, similar to mpeg4, which uses more bitrate on black than on brighter colors). I've seen groups do amazing encodes@1600-1700 4-6 pass SVCD's than most of TUN's which seem like higher bitrate but lower passes or maybe they just need to stay away from DVD2SVCD. Anyway, another mediocre release from what coulda been a bundle of joy. 6/7/7

A good TC is generally better than a Screener which is usually from a VHS source FS, and encoded to VCD, where a TC can be damn near DVD quality usually WS and is almost always on SVCD.

Sorry but thats complete shite, TV doesn't expand, part of the screen is hidden under the case.
Do you know how mpeg2 encoding works? it works on the differences between frames, a black screen has no difference at all, black bars use no bitrate.
Thats why a 2:35:1 SVCD looks better than a FS SVCD.

As for this release, its better than the screener Pic wise, sound could be better though.

Whats the point in posting stuff like that

If its better than the previous release then its a valid release.
