Hi,

Based on Sample:

This is your average VHS RIP,

Good quality on video, you do have the Dreamworks bug at the top throughout the sample, also there are scrolling text. Audio sounds fine to me, nothing wrong with it.

If you have not seen this release, you may want to pick up this screener, if you can bare the text and possible B&W scenes.

Not a bad screener, still think it could be better. Permanent "PROPER OF DREAMWORKS" logo at the top throughout the entire sample & there's a short scrolling message near the bottom of the screen (lasts about 5-10s - i'd assume it comes up every 10-20m). The color still looks a bit funky to me though. Not that blurry, pretty clear actually. Not sure if i'd take this over the TELESYNC. All the messages (and possible b/w scenes) almost make me want to say no. Sound on this release is nice, very clear, not one bit fuzzy or too loud. Movie was major ownage though. So if you haven't seen this yet & don't have the TELESYNC i would get this release .. and if you have seen it & still have the TELESYNC i don't think it's worth it, i'm gonna pass i think.

This is dark film and as good as the Maven TS is, it's there that it suffered.
This is decent screener quality.....a bit soft around the edges, but definitely watchable.
Persistent property of and B/W scenes throughout.
I thought the film itself was excellent the first 2/3, but became a bit of a run-of-the-mill thriller towards the end.
Interesting to see Tom Cruise as the villain, but this film definitely isn't up there with Heat by standards.
Good, but not Mr Mann's best effort.

pretty nice HafVCD...but damn watermarks..hell no I'll wait for retail or maybe even a real telecine to show up..lol..

Yes, and that is a reencode of the VideoDVD TELESYNC DVDR. And their SVCD is a reencode of the VideoCD TELESYNC.

from the sample, the video and audio are very good for a screener. the text at the top is kinda annoying, but overall it looks a great release.

the VideoDVD DVDR release is a real Telecine and a damn good one. I wasn't all that happy with this film so i'll pass on this screener altoghether. It was just ok. Once again, that is just my opinion. Enjoy!!

Perfect audio, good video for a screener. I haven't seen any other releases of this movie, so I can't say whether to keep anything over this. My instinct says this will do just fine for anybody that wants to see this movie.

Video has a watermark and scrolling messages as has been said. They're not that annoying, but I could definitely do without them. The video is kind of bland, not very good colors. It is damn sharp, but it is also a little grainy.

FS of course, which I didn't like, but what are you expecting to get with a screener.

Overall, good release.

Really liked the movie, normally hate Tom Cruise flicks (except Last Sam and now this). Def worth watching cant wait till a Retail comes out of this. Think I will stick with my TS version though.
