I've got two files for movies i am trying to watch, however cant seem to get either to run under any type of media/mpeg/dvd player etc. The files are titled below (two different versions of the same movie):

FILE.NAME.SCREENER.SVCD-TCF
FILE.NAME.TS.Centropy.SVCD.Rip.SBC

When played in media player both play but do not show a picture (just a blank screen) and produce a continuous quiet yet surprisingly annoying background noise.

SO, either someone has gone to a lot of trouble video recording a blackboard in a dimmly lit room or im doing somthing wrong.

Any ideas?

and just to rant again...the ones that do somehow find this site go ahead and post a question that has been answered before. but in all fairness I don't remember the last time this was asked and it was prolly awhile ago and is prolly deleted by now.

And stay away from TMD/SMR or any other ~300MB file of a movie. Even a DVD>Divx 300MB file will look like shit.
