downloaded the dvd's
made up of .bup and .vob files
i burn a dvd in nero and place these files in the video_ts folder. the dvd plays fine in my computer's dvd player but plays black and white on my tv's dvd player. i suspect this is a problem relating to ntsc and pal. i am in north america so i believe we use ntsc, so if this is the case, how can i burn this dvd in ntsc format?

They are likely in PAL.

Conversion is messy.

Use the search... PAL to NTSC conversion has been discussed before.

or teh ultimate answer, daewoo dvd player....$40 or less, lasts perfect for a year buy a new one
