Garden State - DVDRIP - CORRuPT
Finally... Been waiting for this movie. I watched the DVDScr, but I wanted this in DVD format.
Obviously untouched video, no extras. My personal favorite. And it's a good thing for the untouched video, as the video is not that good to begin with. It is an independent film, so cameras and cameramen aren't as good as the big blockbuster films'.
But this release is as sweet as it gets. It plays on my player, so I have no complaints.
Video 10/10 - Only giving it a 10 since it's untouched, but the main problem occured in the actual print/filming of the movie most likely. So no matter how HD we get on this, it won't be much more than it is now.
Movie 9/10 - I liked it. I hardly comment on movie scores. It is different, and that's probably why I liked it. SLOW (strange) movie though, and nothing really happens in it. So you have to like that kind of stuff to enjoy this one.
DVD-R 10/10 - Exactly like I would have done it, so no complaints here. Missing VOB appear to be dummmied (VOB5). **I didn't rip the release apart to check for compatibility on my WalMart "Symphonic" DVD player (which I really don't even own...)**. Both audio commentaries removed to make space I guess for the untocuhed video. All 16 deleted scenes and 27 min making of also cut out of the DVD-R.
Great release!
