on two of my movies theres this little box floating around my screen. its not in the actuall movie, every time i go forward or back up in the movie, the box starts in the top right corner and just moves around. wtf is that?

Get rid of Windows Media Player (SVCD issue you're describing) and learn to make subject's more descriptive than "WTF".

Use freeware VLC Player or BS Player.

or you could always use your favorite DVD player software.
