Posted some comments about the Kinsey xvid release. The comments are there but when you look at the main page it shows 0 posts. Most will assume that there are no comments when they see 0 posts and won't bother to look. How come my comments don't show up as post 1?

That column where the zero is for the replies.. its cause you made the first post and there are no replies to your post yet. Just like this thread. It said zero until I replied.

OK, fair enough. I think it should be changed to reflect the number of posts, not replies. When you see a 3 listed, then you know there are 3 posts. When you see a 5 listed, then you know there are 5 posts. When you see a 0 listed, you don't know if there's 1 post or no posts. It would encourage more response if people could see that someone had posted instead of just a 0.

from memory the code is taken from VBs "replies" entry in the database.
