Yes....

Duct tape....

If that doesn't work, I'd try vcdhelp.com or doom9.org.

You can merge the mpegs using DVD Santa or WinAVI. These programs will convert the mpeg to DVD files which you can then burn onto DVD.

I have successfully put Goodfellas (2 sided DVD) onto one DVD. That was using DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter. However, I obviuosly had the DVD files already.

Im assuming that you are watching svcd from dvd. If thats the case it is MUCH easier to use a program like dvdlab which accepts svcd files for dvd authoring. You can draw a connection between the files and it will play them without stopping. Its also nice that you can put 2 movies on each dvd. You can create pretty nice menus and chapters and even chapter menus with thumbnails(still or motion).
This is, imo, the easiest way to watch svcd from dvd; no video transcoding, no merging(svcd usually has a couple second overlap that can complicate merging and often times the audio gets out of sync) and no quality loss at all.
Id put the url here but im afraid id get accused of fronting for the them(ive mentioned this app in a couple posts)...the outfit's name is mediachance. google it and take a look at it. if you give it a shot i predict youll be happy with the results.

well this is post #10 so the mod wont be forced to read my essay length posts anymore...
