SVCD audio sync problems

Hi Everyone,
Most of the SVCD's I play in my DVD player (Toshiba k620) have slight audio sync problems (most of the times audio seems to lag). These are .bin/.cue files that have been burned using Nero not re-encoded DivX/XVid files. Are these minor audio sync issues common to SVCD releases? If so, any reasons?

I would recommend checking vcdquality fot the movies that you are downloading to see if there are synch issues with the movies. All the movies that i watch (SVCD) don't have synch issues, but (DVDSCR) that's another story...

The recent(ish) switch to DTS soundtracks hasn't helped because they have to be "messed" with quite a lot before they're even synched to the video, which potentially introduces more opportunities for losing audio synch.

It's also worth testing the movies on your PC, it could be your DVD player that's shit.

This happens to me as well when I play SVCDs on my Toshiba SD 330-E. What I do, I press "angle" on my remote, switch to "audio2", press Ok, press "Angle" again, switch back to "audio1", and that does the trick.
