From Watching the Entire Release
Video - Is very nice work from TUN, this is overall a quality piece of work that is far and away the best rls so far of White Noise and will hold off till retail.
Colors are very good and are not washed out and contain very little bluish tinge as seen with some TC's. However the darker scenes (particularly towards the end) are pretty dark and hard to make out.
This rls is indeed cropped for certain along the bottom - the opening title sequence reveals cut off credits - and maybe along the top too, a few senes of tops of heads missing. However this is no major detriment to an otherwise fine picture quality!
Audio - Very crisp and clear (needed to be for this film with the amount of raspy ESP noise that is central to the plot) so props to TUN for that. Did notice a few moments where the sound seemed to cut for a second or two, before rejoining without a problem - this may have jst been my copy?
****SPOILERS HERE IN****
A good premise for this film and ghostly revelations meant i was looking forward to some nice creepiness. White Noise does indeed deliver this, containing many disturbing moments involving ESP via both sound and even via video on TV. Micheal Keaton's performance is good, as an audience member you can feel the emotion of his struggle to gain contact with his dead partner.........but he could do with having more than two facial expressions imo. Ending is also a bit choppy and pieced together, and pretty more leaves you feeling 'where the hell did that come from?'
Basically a so-so flick, some may like others will hate.
****END OF SPOILERS****
Overall nice work from TUN, thanx for an excellent copy that will hold anyone off till retail
