Hey now,

If software came with your drive then it should work. Nero came with my Sony DualLayer and it burns the double layer discs.

DVD Decrypter will burn Double Layer discs.

I've used Roxio's to burn dvd isos before, maybe it can do dl as well. I'd also try the newest version of Nero, I believe it can do dl isos.

my sony 16x also came with a version of nero onley for sony burners that burns dl disks ,but i beleive they are dvd+r which dosent play in my standalone.

providing its a movie image, you could always extract the files from the iso with isobuster or similar, then shrink it to fit on a dvd5, seein as D/L disks are so freekin expensive
