Looks really good! my only complaint would be why there is no audio :P (going to check a few more rars now but so far I can't hear any in sample/rar .01)

/edit hmm when i demultiplex I can play the audio in goldwave.. so they must have done something odd to it. The audio is kinda bland as well

besides it being interlaced as mentioned already , pretty good rip , motionblurness in spots and seems to go in & outta focus at times. AR/crop seem fine, picture has good color , sound is good ..

After downloading CD1 , have a few comments to mention about "TUN TC's"

Although the quality is great , im seriously doubting these are actually "TELECiNE's"

History:

Robots TC TUN - Major Picture shaking contant throught the whole movie

Boogyman TC TUN - Once again Picture (screen) was shaking , not as bad as Robots , but still noticeable

Pacifier TC TUN - Major Autofocus problems , keeps going in & out of focus , also there is dark flickering around the edges of the screen (quite common with TS's) bigtime noticeable 7 mins 30 seconds into CD1 on the white wall.

Since when do TELECiNE's pictures shake, go outta focus , and have flickering around the edges of the screen ?? ....

Dont get me wrong , i think the quality is up there with Centropy , SAOSiN and VideoCD/maVen , but as a TELECiNE , i have my doubts .

you have much to learn grasshopper....

This means that the graphic data is split (usually into two parts), and is displayed alternately line by line. The first pass draws every even line, and then another pass is made to draw every odd line. So for video output, if you have 480 pixel rows shown vertically, an interlaced image will show 240 pixel rows (every other pixel row) at once. It will alternate fast enough that the image looks whole and complete. This is a trick used to increase resolution. However, it makes text and small shapes shimmer in a disturbing way. Standard television signals are interlaced, and that's one reason that text looks awful on a television screen.

just finished watching this too!

video was fine. interlacing my ass, i watched this and didnt even see a single frame - mind you i watched i with XBMC on my xbox, dunno if that would affect it though.

audio is fine. definitley not DTS, and its almost as if it has no bass, im guessing taped FM radio (because it has no bass)

still clear, no audible hiss i heard, and only a few cutouts here and there.

movie was awful, although funny to see vin diesel playnig such an role for him.

9 - video was fine :>

7 - lack of bass was annoying

2 - funny ot see him, but shit store/dialogue.

nothing wrong with this release as far as I can see except for the fact the bass level isn't really loud enough....

You definately dont know your way around telecine equiptment.

A telecine machine has several components which can make conflicts in video if they attached incorrectly or if they are slightly damaged.

Tun's telecines have a lot of the marks seen on several telecines. ESPECIALLY the light shaking which could be fixed quite easily by adjusting the gate.

please do not judge after your believes if you dont know your way around such equiptment, instead judge the quality of the video released.

Ps. its VERY hard to obtain good visual in dark scenes using a CAM but oh well believe what you want

I take it your saying only NTSC sources can be interlaced

Lmao , any source , PAL or NTSC can be interlaced ...

Also , check both the sample & video , the video reads as progressive but you can clearly see the lines all over the video on any player or standalone.
