Question winavi encoding

I was using Winavi 5.8 to convert mpegs or avi's to dvd vob files and then burn using Nero 6.3.1.17. The problem I'm having is Winavi is converting files successfully or at least it says it does but when I burn it with Nero it burns successfully but my dvd burner can't recognize the cd or play it. it will play fine in my computer. I even tried my other dvd player and it won't play there either. I basically use the batch process in winavi to convert if I have a part 1 and part 2 of a movie. The funny thing is that sometimes it work and sometimes it don't work for some movies. I'm at a lost being I do the ame steps for each movie. I have just got the new version of winavi 6.3 and see if that will fix the issue. I just wondered if anyone has experience this problem. If so what did you discover was your problem.

God Warrior.

maybe you are doing something wrong when burning it, i am assuming that you clikc on the burn now button on winavi. Look carefully at the vobs and make sure that you dont make duplicate folders (ie video_TS). Other than that...maybe try buring at a lower speed. Oh, and maybe run a check on the drive (to check for errors and outdated drivers)
