i use vcd gear to extract the mpeg from the bin/cue files (with fix mpeg ticked), then do a simple demultiplex with tmpgenc's mpeg tools, transcode the audio to 48 with ffmpeg, then just import into dvdlab-pro and author away (dont like using dvdlab for the demux and transcoding). This way doesnt actually join the two (or however many discs it was) mpeg files, each mpeg is just treated as a different title, and just manually join them to run concurrently.
i know there are quicker ways of putting a svcd onto dvd, i just find this way works better for me.
some ppl like svcd2dvd (which i do sometimes use, but the audio seems to be hit and miss), others like to use dvd patcher, and others dont bother and just use cd's....its just a matter of trying different methods and see which one works best for you.
