Exclamation Kingdom of Heaven - How do I stretch this movie??

Ok, I've downloaded the Kingdom of Heaven SVCD release and decompressed the files. I then used Isobuster to get the mpegs out of the bin files. With this movie, and many others, when I play it it only takes up a portion of the screen. It's cropped? What's a good program I can use to stretch the video so I can burn it at the proper size. Divxtodvd wouldn't do it, WinAvi will but it keeps freezing on me during conversion. Someone got another idea of a program I could use? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

ermm, when you just burn it as a svcd it plays wonderful on a standalone dvdplayer. So don't extract the binfiles, just burn them with any burningtool (for example Nero).

Or extract them and burn them in SVCDmode. If you want them all three on 1 dvd...

Hi, I'm a noob on converting files and would appreciate any help on the following matter. I DL Kingdom of Heaven (TC/ SVCD) and got the cue and bin files for each disk (3 in total). Well I want to put them on a DVD-R. I researched via google and came up with the following, but had a problem. I used vcdgear to convert my bin and cue to mpeg. then using tempg I merged the 3 files to become one single file (super video cd vbr). Then I demultiplexed. Then using dvd patcher I changed the mpeg resolution from 480 to 352 horizontal. Then I converted the audio to MP2 48000 KHz (DVD compliant). Then, using Tempg DVD author, I made the dvd audio and video folders. I then went back in and changed the resolutions back to 480 on the VOB files. I burned it to a DVD and tried it on my DVD player. My DVD player plays SVCD's just fine, but when I put this DVD-R that I converted I can see a picture, but it's black and white and the picture goes up out of the screen and keeps doing that, from bottom to top over and over. I am sure someone might know what I am talking about, any help would be highly appreciated in letting me know what I am doing wrong or if there are other better ways of converting SVCD to DVDR. Thanks in advance.

cuz your dvd player doesn't like PAL movies, this is why it's jumping around and such. when I patch mpegs to import into tmpgenc dvd author, as soon as it accepts the file, I patch it back to orriginal, no need to waite and patch the vob files at the end, and therefore, any menues you make, don't have that awful green bar in them.

pal

look for a button on your remote for your dvd player ...mine has one that goes from pal to the other ntsc or whatever but in australia pals just fine anyway look for that...you might have a 70 buck player like me that works just fine with either...good luck...also check your t.v maybe that has an option
