i am using vdub 1.6.5 and i get an error opening an avi saying it cant find a decompressor for div3....i have the letest divx installed and even avicodec says supported...wmp plays it fine too...i tried vdub 1.5.9 also...

all i can say is either reinstall the codec, or try another one. and i mean CLEAN install.

that worked....

i think there was a double codec decode problem with xvid decoding all four ccs or some shit like that....so i uninstalled everything and reinstalled both unchecking the 4 cc shit...
