xvid/avi no sound help..

I have the longest yard and when I play the xvid/avi theres no sound at all am I doing something wrong? Im playing it on windows media player. both movie files and the sample dont have audio.

If it doesnt' work, then turn up the volume or enable your sound card or something.

Movie may have AC3 format audio. If so, try installing the AC3Filter (for conversion, if you're using TMPGEnc etc).

how hard is it to convert the movie to an MPEG? what programs should I use? I have converted pal to ntsc but never an xvid.

i dont know what method you used to convert pal to ntsc, but whatever the case, im sure its harder than converting xvid to mpg
