Hi Dad
Err..Newsgroups

Basically I tried to start using a newsgroups a while back but found it a bit confusing, so just a few qs

1. Whats the best newsgroup client?

2. Is there a good site to find nzb files direct, instead of updating the list every time?

the best client is a either newsbin pro or newsleecher depending on what you want. i have newsleecher at the moment and it does the job.

i would just download headers much better than using a nzb site as the site doesnt always put up nzbs of posts. but if you must try newzbin.com .

i use grabit....its free and even has a search feature built in. Im probably just a beginner compared to some of the other people on here though so I couldnt tell u what is best. Ill definately recommend slyk's guide...it can be pretty helpful if youre just starting out.

you don't need to wait for the editors to "put up posts", switch to file view in newzbin and you can see all the files posted in each group, tick the boxes and create your own .NZB, pulling headers is like sooooo 2002

yeah i forgot about that, i dont use newzbin at all and i generally hate nzb files.

I personally use Newsleecher... tried Grabit and it was nice as well. Now that newsleecher has matured a bit... it rocks IMHO.
