Use a PAL mini DVD-R camcorder, pretty sure that will solve your problem... most NTSC camcorders are just not gonna do the trick, NTSC camcorder is 29.97 frames per second, a movie playing in a theater is 23.97 frames per second, PAL camcorder is 25 frames per second. the difference in the frames per second between the theater film playing and an NTSC camcorder is what's creating the black spots or "flicker". The PAL at 25 fps is close enough it would not really be noticable.
Also, I say to use Mini DVD-R because that would be pretty easy to rip to VCD/SVCD.
