I gotta ask "What is this NFO saying?"

I don't understand... I hate to hark on this group too much, but I'm just asking on this one. Spanish SUBS? Did I miss something XPDVD released?

I'm clueless.

SO once again we have josh our famous Xpdvd member talkin crap.. Get a dupebot =) they do wonders man.. Seriously...and wonder what dupebot vcdquality uses... i noticed a lot of stuff on here from various groups nuked when actually not... whatever bot vcdq uses is broken.. time for an upgrade...Btw MR. XPDVD.... sitting with TDX 2005 rules in front of me... figured i got a headache from reading your bitching.. kinda to vcdquality cause their nukes on so many bogus things is outrageous.. re-encoded menu is not banned by tdx 2005.if it serves to keep higher bitrate above 3000.... grab a copy nice read...

Hey dumbass Mr. JKR, and how do you re-encode menus? One-Click programs.... duh?

There is 1 program that uses CCE to re-encode menus, but it hardly works, very badly made. So re-encoding menus is usually PROOF of one-click programs. Get a clue. Show me how... PROVE ME WRONG! That Simple. You proved to me that they use a one-click program CloneDVD, prove to me they use CCE!

. NFO must include the following:
. Groups name.
. Title.
. Regions, NTSC or PAL.
. Number of Passes and Bitrate used when re-encoding.
. Audio streams, and subtitles included.
. What has been stripped, extras, menu, etc.
. IMDB, or similar link.
. Number of archive files.

It is pretty stupid to accuse people of being in release groups and provide information regarding release groups. People who drop dime usually die in prison. Please ban this jc guy. He is providing way too much information. SHoild be scene banned imo.

At least XPDVD releases are quality cce encodes and not some lame-ass transcode job that an 8 year old could do. You keep talking about rules, yet you ignore the rule against 1-clickers.

One Click transcode App's shouldnt be totally banned, i have done many backups using DVD Shrink by removing unwanted Audio Tracks and re-encoding the menu's, but managing to keep the movie untouched, this is a quicker and far superior way to any CCE method.

Also groups who get caught using Transcoders should be mocked anyway, as its not hard to hide it, if you do use them.

Nah, even when its doing something as simple as that, Shrink still fucks with other factors.

Simple fact is there's a variety of one click methods that use CCE these days, if groups insist on using one click apps, they could at least use one of those, rather than a compressor.

I Have heard DVD Shrink does mess with the structure, but ive personally never had a problem on any DVD Player, from a 5year old one, to an Xbox and PS2, so i dont consider it a problem.

I dont think its a lack of skill, that has people using Transcoders, its more a speed thing, u can have a release ripped, transoded and as an image in less than an hour on a Decent PC.

True, but why bother with the scene. No one wants to d/l stuff any kid can do in under an hour.

pHo is correct, you can get simple one-click programs that use CCE now.

Redemption1980, u can use ifoedit to remove unwanted audio tracks, and vob blanker to kill unwanted menu items. No DVDShrink needed.

I figure the time and effort JKR used to write all those nfos, they could have used it more wisely to learn a CCE method.

To me having the sources, and getting a release out there is what the scene is all about, CCE and AviSynth are pretty easy to use, people seem to treat them like they are things that only a select special few can use.
TBH the hardest thing ive encountered with DVD Downsampling has been using Scenarist.

Yeah i know, IFO Edit can remove audio, and Vob Blanker can edit menu's, though i find DVD Remake a far better app, but IFO Edit is no better at removing audio tracks than DVD Shrink, and i still have a menu to re-encode, so why use an extra prog, when there is no need.
People seem to do things the hard way, just because its the done thing, rather than there being any quality benefit.

Im not defending the use of Transcoders, or saying they should be used, but i personally would prefer a release with Untouched video and a Transcoded menu, than one with Untouched Menu and CCE'd Video.

Saying that i do think this group are a bunch of Jokers.
