There is one thing for sure. I think Video quality is the #1 most important thing, and whatever needs to be done to get the quality up (preferably untouched) should be done. The next would be English 5.1, then the title menu. Anything after that is just whatever the ripper wants that can fit in the remaining space. Those 3 things should be like a law or something, I'd even go without a title menu if it helped improved the video.
What is it? A movie, primarily about what you SEE on the screen, and if it's ugly quality, then I don't care what other extras are on the DVD, it's worthless. Then it's about what you hear, and 5.1 is a minimum standard. English of course. If you want to start throwing other languages on, might as well include Phillipino, or Arabic, and 100 other languages if they are on there. Why Spanish? Sure there are lot's of Spanish people, but French? Not really like Spanish. So sacrifice video quality for French? If the user can find and download the release, they already speak English, and there are probably other places to find downloads that cater towards foreign languages, I certainly see enough Danish downloads, or is that Dutch?
Low bitrate movies are very noticable BTW on large screen TVs, and not in a good way.
