I also thought this movie was better than the imdb and overall ratings. Pretty good acting and a kinda realistic story.

Video hung for me at about half way through, i played on my laptop, though. it has a Nec 6650a drive and i've heard Necs don't aren't great at playback. Sure it was on my end.

I can't believe nobody has noticed yet that replica kinda dropped the ball on this one.

There are ifo errors on 3 VTSes, including the main movie VTS.

Outtake of the main movie ifo:

PGC (program chain):
[00000002] Number of Programs 29 [1d]
[00000003] Number of Cells 29 [1d]
[00000004] Playback time (BCD) 22217168 [015301d0]
Playback time (hh:mm:ss.frame) 01:53:01.10 / 30 fps

PGC Program Map:
[0000032c] Program_1: Entry cell number 1 [01]
[0000032d] Program_2: Entry cell number 3 [03]
[0000032e] Program_3: Entry cell number 4 [04]
[0000032f] Program_4: Entry cell number 5 [05]
[00000330] Program_5: Entry cell number 6 [06]
[00000331] Program_6: Entry cell number 7 [07]
[00000332] Program_7: Entry cell number 8 [08]
[00000333] Program_8: Entry cell number 9 [09]
[00000334] Program_9: Entry cell number 10 [0a]
[00000335] Program_10: Entry cell number 11 [0b]
[00000336] Program_11: Entry cell number 12 [0c]
[00000337] Program_12: Entry cell number 13 [0d]
[00000338] Program_13: Entry cell number 14 [0e]
[00000339] Program_14: Entry cell number 15 [0f]
[0000033a] Program_15: Entry cell number 16 [10]
[0000033b] Program_16: Entry cell number 17 [11]
[0000033c] Program_17: Entry cell number 18 [12]
[0000033d] Program_18: Entry cell number 19 [13]
[0000033e] Program_19: Entry cell number 20 [14]
[0000033f] Program_20: Entry cell number 21 [15]
[00000340] Program_21: Entry cell number 22 [16]
[00000341] Program_22: Entry cell number 23 [17]
[00000342] Program_23: Entry cell number 24 [18]
[00000343] Program_24: Entry cell number 25 [19]
[00000344] Program_25: Entry cell number 26 [1a]
[00000345] Program_26: Entry cell number 27 [1b]
[00000346] Program_27: Entry cell number 28 [1c]
[00000347] Program_28: Entry cell number 29 [1d]
[00000348] Program_29: Entry cell number 30 [1e]

As you can see, the program map doesn't line up with the program chain information or cell count.

From VTS 13:

PGC Program Map:
[00000114] Program_1: Entry cell number 1 [01]
[00000115] Program_2: Entry cell number 55 [37]
[00000116] Program_3: Entry cell number 3 [03]

The reference to cell 55 should have been to cell 2 off-course. But as VTS11 and VTS13 are stripped, the only real concern is with the main movie.

As you probably can imagine, some players won't like these types of mismatches, because the first scan the program maps before starting playback.

Most will just run as if nothing is wrong with the disc. But you shouldn't have to be at the mercy of your player.

PGC Program Map:
[0000032c] Program_1: Entry cell number 1
[0000032d] Program_2: Entry cell number 3

I havent actually grabbed this as yet but after a little look on amazon it becomes apparent that this is a Sony Pictures dvd and even their shit movies come ARccOS protected.
This is actually easy to fix, its the removal of the protection that throws the chapters out by one or more.

Load up the main movie ifo in ifoedit
Switch to PTT_SRPTI

These are you chapter points..

code:
[0000000c] PTT_1: Programm Chain number PGCN 1 [0000000e] PTT_1: Programm number PG 1 [00000010] PTT_2: Programm Chain number PGCN 1 [00000012] PTT_2: Programm number PG 2 [00000014] PTT_3: Programm Chain number PGCN 1 [00000016] PTT_3: Programm number PG 3 [00000018] PTT_4: Programm Chain number PGCN 1 [0000001a] PTT_4: Programm number PG 4

This is what you would see on this movie..
code:
[0000000c] PTT_1: Programm Chain number PGCN 1 [0000000e] PTT_1: Programm number PG 1 [00000010] PTT_2: Programm Chain number PGCN 1 [00000012] PTT_2: Programm number PG 3 [00000014] PTT_3: Programm Chain number PGCN 1 [00000016] PTT_3: Programm number PG 4 [00000018] PTT_4: Programm Chain number PGCN 1 [0000001a] PTT_4: Programm number PG 5

Just double click on the Programm number PG lines edit it back to what it should be and save the ifos and that should fix it.

Just for the fact that i could learn something new regarding movies that do this. Thanks for you help in this matter.
